Dates and Registration

Spring Semester 2024 dates

The prerequisite for participating is valid enrollment at the University of Zurich. The modules can be booked through the regular booking modules (under the study program "School for Transdisciplinary Studies", browse in "Start! Teaching Assistant Qualification" program) and the content accessed on OLAT starting on Monday, 5.2.2023, 2024. Support in case of questions about the program or the courses: tutorat@le.uzh.ch

Booking and Cancellation Deadline:

Bookings can be made from 17.01.2024, 10 a.m.

Bookings can be canceled until 12.03.2024, 12 a.m.

A synchronous workshop is mandatory for the basic module. There is a choice of two dates (one online, one on-site), but only one of these must be attended.

1st date: 14. May 2024; 08:00 a.m. (online)

2nd date: 16. May 2024; 16:00 (on site)

There are several learning units to choose from in the consolidation module. Some are exclusively asynchronous, some are synchronous workshops. Of these, 3 course units are mandatory.

Gamifcation: Exclusively asynchronous learning unit without synchronous unit

Actvating Methods beyone academia: 12. March 2024; 16:15-19:00 and 21. May 2024; 16:15-18:00 (both online, both must be attended).

Learning Video: Mainly asynchronous learning unit; exchange: 22 May 2024; 16:15-18:00 (online)

Presenting knowledge to a wider public: 18. April 2024; 9:00-18:00 (on site)

Once a year, the TQ Summer School takes place in the summer.

The next Summer School will take place from 9 to 13 September 2024. It will be held in German.

OLAT courses

The deadline for submitting the assignment in the online courses (a so-called workbook) for the spring semester 2024 is 31.05.2024. Therefore, the courses must be completed during the period between the start of the program and the end of May. Additionally, Members of the must participate in mandatory Online-Meetings. Dates will be communicated in in the OLAT course and here. 

The assignment  is assessed by us globally in accordance with a fixed set of criteria; in addition, written or oral (peer)feedback is provided on selected exercises for each course. Further information can be found in the courses themselves.
